I am still waiting on SLC County to comitt to a location, it is pending approval at the County Parks Department.

We are still targeting Sept 24-25.
5 man for sure probably $150 / team
7 man is a possibility..

As soon as the County confirms or denies the date I will move on the rest of the info ASAP.

Allen, Anything yet? I know i am asking a lot, but i want this to be as big as possible. But if ou set the sign up form 3 weeks before it starts, it ain't gonna be very big.

I am very aware of the situation. Unfortunately Rocky Anderson has denied use of Fairmont Park. Terry and the ProP-Paintball managers in SLC government are trying to get a variance approved through the county government as well as line up another park but there are lots of Fall softball and Soccer leagues so it is proving difficult.

If I have something I will get the word out ASAP.

Just FYI I am already working on 2005 venues and times.

Update

I want to update this thread. I wish I had good news but I Dont.

As of today Tuesday Sept 14th, 10:40am. I still do not have a confirmation from SLC county for a possible park to use on Sept 25th.

Since that is now just 2 weeks away I am concerned that it does not leave enough time for teams to prepare for a event. I am considering postponing the event into October.

However I have also had requests from some teams to run an, even if the turnout is small.

I do have a venue lined up for October 15th for sure if people are interested.

As always I welcome your input on this situation.

Hmm, I noticed that Battlegrounds is having a tournament onthe 16th. So I thought I'd take a look at the calendar and at that point realized the 15th is on a Friday. For some reason I just assumed it was a saturday. I guess the 15th is out for me. 🙁
I can allways try to scrape up money for a tournament if I have enough notice and the stars all line up correctly but I cant miss a days work on top of that.

As far as the Battlegrounds tournament goes. I can't imagine that causing any loss of people at the 15th Tourney. Its only 3man and only 10.00 a person. Plus its "bring your own paint" if you want so people can use whatever paint they have left over from your 15th tourney. If I were able to go to the 15th tourney I would probably try to go to both.
