E-bikes are FUN

Well, this weekend I decided I BADLY needed to start getting some exersize, and me being the butterball that I am decided that since my job as a cube farmer--not indicitave of health and well being--would like to get around the paintball field a little easier:( i.e. quicker, so I decide I need to get a bike and start commuting to work.

with a bicycle I could get some exersize, and get to work at the same time(also cuts down on gas costs!). so I made my way to the local Wally world, and lo, there she was, waiting for me! a 24v 450w Mongoose E-BIKE! Dare I live the american dream? Tempt the gods anger with this contraption! YES! I DID! AND IT IS WONDERFULL!

exersize AND fun, who knew this could be acomplished for me, off the paintball field; but it was! On my first ride(after a full charge of course) I set out to find out what I could do on this thing.

the first great thing about an E-bike is the take off. you use the motor to get a little push, and then pedal away. second, this is the fun part, SPEED sitting down pedaling casualy with the throttle full, I was probobly doing 20mph. I started down a long streach of street, and noted a group of people on bikes just turning onto the street ahead of me. I passed them, and continued down the long road. I turned up a second street, went all the way to the end; turnd around, and came back down and onto the long street going the other way. I was zipping along on my way back, and passed the group of riders, who were only half-way down the street!

bottom line, if you are like me, and you know who you are, you don't get to or, like to exersize that much, consier an E-bike.
