No Drops? 😕
K now I am old school baller. I have been playing for along time and have seen many trends come and go for paintball. It seems to me the new thing is that people are not using drop forwards on their guns anymore. Whats the deal? Maybe its just me but without a drop the tanks sticks out so far in the back that it is hard to get into a buker super tight. Maybe its just me but I could never have a gun that did not have a drop on it. __________________

I feel that without a drop you have better gun control and the back of the gun stays lined up between your eyes while keeping a lower profile.

exactly, thats why most pro's wont even touch a drop. you get more control, lower profile, and you can see where your paint is flyi g much easier if your gun is more at eye level __________________

its because you want your wrist to go along the reg so your a smaller target. With a drop forward your arm goes over the tanks and it sticks out wide.

Guess it is just me. I played 3 games without a drop and hated it. I felt like I was shooting a rifle. Give me a 3" drop and I am good to go.

when I used a cocker I had a 3 inch drop. When I started getting into tournament ball I switched to using a rail with no drop. It took a while to get use to it but it was way worth it. Now there is no way I would play with a drop. It's all about personal preference either way.

I just can't get used to the feel of a gun with no drop. I might have to practice with it though because I can see the benefits.

Try using a 45/45 or a 72/45 Stubby, They are much smaller Tanks than the average 68...Im sure it will be a tad more comfortable and less of a rifle-feel

That is what I was thinking. If I had a 72/45 it is shorter than a 68 tank and might be a little better. I am a big guy that likes to play front so I like to have my stuff as small as possible.

I know where your comin from. I'm 6 foot and play front too so keeping it small is a must, especially if your playing snake. Try a stubby before you buy one cause they can really throw you off. I borrowed a friends and used it a few times and hated it but I know a lot of people who love them. So just try it first!
