Woodsball field improvements / upkeep Field maintenance is an issue that needs attention. I walked the field after the meeting yesterday. Rather than finding the field in decent shape, I found it looking more like a trash dump. We can not set up permanent bunkers on the top road in our field. That is why we have boxes on that road. The boxes are currently knocked over and spread out. This provides little cover and leaves a messy appearance. We need to keep the boxes strategically placed in small stacks to keep the field looking well kept.
This is our field! Take ownership of it. If we let it get trashed it will be taken away from us. We the HPA need to show our pride in owning this field. The field should always look better than it was when we got out there. If you bring boxes of paint and water bottles out to the field, make sure that you take them out as well. We are still trying to get a dumpster out there. However, it is hard to talk the company into setting another dumpster by the paintball field. Their last one got all shot up. On that note, I noticed that the Port-A-Potty was shot up as well. Before you leave the field please check for trash and wipe up any hits on the assets that should not be shot. At the meeting we talked about how to get some work done on the field. We decided that the HPA will reserve the field the next few Saturdays. If you would like to play paintball on Saturday, you will have to show up in the morning and help the HPA work on the field from 0800 to 1200. Depending on our resources we may stop working early. After working on the field we will play on it to try out our improvements. __________________
