ID cards will be required. We are hoping to have full ID's card by the first event, but we may have to issue temps like the other NPPL Feeder series are doing right now.
As for your personal classification, that would be based on the NPPL/NPPL Feeder database, the decision is not up to the UXPL staff. The classifications that concern you can be read on the XPSL website http://www.xpsl.com/classification.shtml. Team classifications can be read on the UXPL website http://www.uxpl.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=section&id=4&Itemid=26 __________________

The NPPL Charges $35 for their ID cards when purchased online.
Onsite issued Temp ID's are $40. (This is the NPPL's requrement as part of the feeder contract) If the NPPL Feeder ID system is fully functional in the next few days then we will be requiring NPPL ID cards to be purchased by May 7th so that the NPPL can print them and get them to us by the event date. If the NPPL system is not operational for feeders in the next few days then I dont feel that players have enough time to get registered etc. hence we will not require them at the first event but will require them for the second event. I hope that helps.. On your earlier question of qualifiction: (Its kinda messy but let me try to break it down to the basics) If you have a current NPPL rank (D3-D1, Semi-pro or Pro) then that is your rank for Feeders as well. If you have played 2 or more XPSL's in one year then you will probably be D4 (Novice), unless you have a NPPL rank as above. If you have not played in an XPSL, NPPL, PSP, etc then you are probably D5 (Rookie) Most all UXPL teams from the last 3 years will be D5 (Rooke) ranked under the new NPPL Feeder system. The UXPL will also have a D6 for true tournament new players. There are also some other dual classifications and exceptions at the XSPL website but for most players the basics cover it. Please read the links Cory posted and if you need further indiviudual clarificaition them email or call me privately. Ultimately since we are a NPPL Feeder event the NPPL decides all classificaiton issues. __________________ -Allen Turner, Paintball Evangelist (ret) Owner Millennium Paintball Producter of Paintball Scenario Games Paradox Games Promoter Utah Extreme Paintball League Last edited by Allen Turner : 04-27-2006 at 10:58 AM. | |||||
