Nor Cal Baller Moving To The 801

Hey guys,
So I am headed out to attend UVSC in the fall and am becoming concerned with the lack of utah pb fields/info I have found online. Is there much competition in Utah? What are the good fields in the area? Is there alot of serious tournament play out there? Is there year round play or is it mostly summer time cause of snow? I really havnt looked much into Utah paintball untill now, and I am kinda scard 🙁. So help me out here guys.
Also if any teams are interested in picking up a california baller when fall rolls around hit me up a pm or post here.

Thanks All

-Brent

Addicts

Addicts is the only real tournament field Utah currently has, we have several recball fields and Utah has a huge amount of outlaw players.
Also there are some great players here as well.

If you want real competition head to Addicts on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night. Likewise i suspect you are about to get bombarded with requests from teams looking for players. We are currently looking for d4, d5 players.

As far as tournament paintball goes, there will only be more of it. With the UXPL becoming a NPPL feeder event and more and more teams looking into it, tournament paintball will probably get pretty big here in the next few years. Nothing like California tourny ball but still something.

^^ I guess I know where I will be thursday nights and sunday mornings.

Are Tombstone, Addicts, or any of these other teams at all interested in picking up a good mid player (back if needed I prefer mid) ? If so toss me a pm with more info. Again I am not gonna be moving out there tell some time early fall, not exactley sure when.

Derek who do you play for? PM me with more info on the team please.

I wanna have some spots pretty much secure for me so I am ready to role when I get out there, dont wanna be confused and lost and miss half the season before I get picked up by somone.

Also is this the best forum to be requesting info and such on? Doesnt seem to be really active, should I be on a different site that I dont know about?

Thanks all

This is the best forum to be on, it is a little slow right now because it is spring break around here, so lots of people are out of town. What are you classified?

There are several teams in the area, and someone is always looking for players.

Since you won't be here until the fall, anything could happen with the local teams. Are you going to be out here any time before then?

Are you able to travel to play tournaments, or are you looking for primarily local events?

If you are going to be out here before you start school, give us a call, we will introduce you around.

Thanks,
Lisa

I am D5, I have played a couple rookie XPSL events when teams have asked me to, I never stuck with any of those teams though. The team I am on now are a great bunch of ballers, I have been playing local with them for about two years now, we as a team have the talent to be play XPSL rookie (and higher) and planned to but I am leaving. My brother remains on that team and they will have a strong start next year.

I know that anything could happen between now and fall, that’s why I am here now hoping to secure some spots for me incase one or two don’t fall through. Also I got in here hoping to find out who those strong steady teams are and also the ones that are not so dedicated and secure, by the time fall comes around I think everything will be pretty clear to me.

I will be headed out there some time during the summer for about 2 weeks, of that time I will probly be in Provo for 3-4 days. If I can arrange it I will swing by to check things out.

It would be great to be picked up by a team that are playing national events. Playing here against strong teams like the old lanche, the rodents, XSV, sometimes Oakland Empire and more, I feel that I will be a strong asset to any team in any division. If no such teams look into me, I will be glad to play for a local team and hopefully help that team progress from there.

Ill be sure to let everyone know when I will be out there and look forward to meeting everyone.

OB1 - I have heard many good things about the turtles in the past and it would be a privilege to play with you guys. I just looked for you guys in NPPL this year and did not find anything, whats up? Keep in touch.
