SPPL host field

I dont like to complain to much, but last year at the SPPL paint was 55 dollars per case, and this year it will cost 65. And plus registration is more this year too. Velocity is there and way you can lower the field fee or bring it back to 55 like last year.

I dont know how much you know about the SPPL as far as pricing goes, but I can tell you that we are not the only ones making decisions on paint and entrance fee's. Every SPPL event is charging $65 OR more for paint. Fee's were cheap last year because Spec Ops was introducing the league.

The other thing I can tell you is the cost involved with putting on these events-- its not cheap... There are a lot of costs and man hours involved.

Then you have to consider that each SPPL qualifier will be awarding prizes in excess of $8,000.

Now, a lot of people must feel that it is worth the $$ considering that the Utah Qualifier is almost full. I think $50 per person + paint is more than fair for such an event.

Not a bush league

The SPPL is not a bush league event, this is a national PB tourment and is quickly catching the eye of promoters, sponsors and players.

More and more PB companies are looking at Scenario paintball as events they can support. This event will only get bigger and more expensive each year.

The top 5 teams is UT will travel to the Finals in Oklahoma and have the expense of travel too. So if $10 is keeping you from playing you may want to re-think your PB budget.

your right

Yeah your right, it probably does cost a lot to run a event that big, and plus there is triple the teams there this year. Thanks for the info, and see you guys at the SPPL

Always want to encourage new players and new teams, it keeps the sport growing. But tourment PB is not cheep as you know.

IT would be sad to see a team place in the top 5 and then not have the budget to travel to the finals. That is all I was tring to point out:)
