I said BANG!!!

This happened to my friend at D-Day in OK, I think it was either 2004 or 2005, I can't remember.

So my friend is taking a breather in a fox hole when he hears this kid yell "BANG!" He turns around and saw this kid from the German side standing there, looks at him puzzled for a moment, then shoots him. The kid freaked out. Apparently where he came from if you yell bang that's the same as telling someone to surrender? None of us were familiar with this "rule" as the kid insisted that if you say "bang" that means the other person is automatically out. And this kid was about 15 I think. A ref eventually came over and pulled them both out, the kid since he was hit and my friend for shooting within 10 feet.
