About 243,000 paintball markers, manufactured by Brass Eagle, are being recalled, the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced on Wednesday.

The CPSC said the carbon dioxide cartridges can be forcibly ejected out the back of the Black Turbo paintball marker and break the plastic screw-on cap.

The CPSC said the person using the paintball marker could be hit by the cartridges or the caps.

There have been seven injuries reported involving the paintball markers

i dont think that is good it can result later in the ban in paintball or restrictions majorly in the sport like where it is played and how it is used etc

I agree. If you read the full article there have been injuries from this defective product and that is a BAD, BAD thing!

Its sad that a few accidents occur in paintball and death of paintball is thought of. What about all the other products in the market that have their defects and cause injuries, they make new ones and life moves on.
