I want to touch on some of the calls made in the semi finals. I had 6 people I dont even know; 2 that were for supporting the other team tell me that we were robbed by the unfair call. I had 1 that wanted me to let him take the ref outside and give him a lesson on being fair and supporting the other refs.
The details are, we were down to a 1 on 1; they were on opposite sides of the field on the 50. Jm shot the other person in the pack 3-4 times the kid spun and fired at jm he missed, jm shot him again then the outher kid shot jm on the foot. There were two judges watching this and they called jm clean and they other out. Then a ref from the other side of the field called jm out, there is no way he saw the hole thing. The sad part is the 2 that had already made the call didn,t have the balls to stand up for themselves and say no way. The first thing I learned in reffing school is you always support the other refs decision and never never change thier calls, you live and learn from your mistakes. I've seen several calls reversed by the head ref, ultimate and even the promoter. The refs need to be trained that a black and white call is done instantly and a contarversial call is discussed before the desision is made. And again, once the call has been made it is final!! __________________

dont really know why people brought this up...the call has been made and the tourny is long been over with. Even if it was a bad call it was still made and there is nothing you can do about it but move on and hope that you get better calls next time.
