REDICULOUS Gun Pulling At the Addicts tourney

hey, its hbk, we just played the addicts tourney on saturday under havoc. we were doing great for ur first like 4 games, and than wes pulled my dm4. they found like 1 extra ball becuase the trigger was flicked. i was fine with this. 2 games later, there goes my proto, wes says my dm4 was bouncing, because micheal and i went to pull a run through, and i 3 fingered it, he said it was bouncing. i went with it( didtn want to argue with the ref's). i was very surprised when they pulled both of my guns, than they pulled jame's bushy. i thought that was where it would end. but nope, there goes the shocker that gavin was using, and than our 06 speed. this made me incredibly dissapointed in the refs on the young guns feild( except sammy).

3 players, 2 guns each. 5 pulled, 1 gun left. we were forced to play 2 on 3's, and on 1 occasion a 1 on three, costing us the finals.

ps, i asked 8 people( yes, i counted) to try and find bounce in my dm4, and noone could. they treated this like a nppl event on gun bounce in a 3 on 3 young guns feild. i

i thought this was just stupid and havoc will not playing the next addicts tourney because of it.

next time take the gun to the ultamite reff and let them see if they can find bounce in it.

I agree that this was a problem with one of the refs on the Young Guns field. But the biggest problem was that NO ONE brought it to the attention of the Ultimate ref until AFTER the prelims were over. If anyone would have brought it to the attention of the Ultimate, it could have been handled on the spot, instead of during finals. As soon as he was made aware of the problem, that ref was relieved of his gun checking duties.

So, the moral is....if there is problem, you HAVE to let someone know, not just whine amongst yourselves, that gets you nowhere!

We can't fix a problem that we are not aware of. As soon as it was brought to light, it was handled. Unfortunately, this was too late for Havoc.

yes we had the same problem too but not quite as bad. we ended up fixing the gun though.

lisa- james said that he talked to sammy, and val, according to james, they said that it was in the past and that they couldnt do anything.

i did infact talk to sammi and he said the decision had already been made and we cant bring our guns back in if they had already been pulled, sry we did not bring it to your attention earlier lisa its mainly our fault we did not make it to the finals

im not saying that the tourney wasn't fun. but wes needed to settle down on his gun pullling. the tourneys are great, but 1 ref ruined it for us.

WhatI mean is the refs should have lightened up on theses ygz or they arn't going to want to come back.

And Val was notified of the problem but nothing changed.
