who is going to USG on June 9-10?

I appreciate all the comments that everyone has made about the USG. It took several years and a lot of hard work to get paintball in the Utah Summer Games. Kyle the Director of the Summer Games took a leap when he brought the sport on board. Needless to say he was blown away by the sport, the competativeness and the amount of participants and spectators. Several things have to happen for the summer games event to work and to operate.

Many of you will notice that the summer games is only $200 to enter for a 7 man team and that paint starts at only $40 a case. This is really my way and now the MWXPL's way to give back to the players in Utah.
It also provides a venue where tournament paintball is really put out on the grass where people curious can come and watch and where teams curious about tournament paintball can cut their teeth and see if they really want to play.

And, if you think your team is all that and a bag of chips or that you are the best in Utah then you need to get your butt out to the Summer Games. The Summer games is the knock down drag it out put it all on the line step up or shut-up Utah paintball event.

Grass, Guns and Glory. Taking the Gold is like being the heavy-weight champ. You get to brag for a whole year about how you shot, slid, and bunkered your way to glory. The venue this year is just sick it is on Cedar Cities premeir soccer field so the grass is going to be killer, in fact it'll probably be the best playing surface many ballers will ever play on.

We don't have prizes to protect the integrity of the medal. It is what it is and the sportsmanship prize will be back again this year. We will cap the event this year and I am confident it will sell out. I have already had calls from all over the state with teams expressing interest. I plan to personally visit every paintball store in the state to answer questions and get the word out about the summer games.

We have taken all the feedback we recieved from last year and have even taken measures to keep the fields up even if the weather is wierd again. I CAN'T wait for the USG.

Is it open division only? Or will there be different categories? A soccer field will make a great location, much better than playing in the dirt
