This could be the start that paintball needs to have. every sport started out like paintball and one event turned it into what it is today. I think only good can come from this he is no more a sell out than jackie robinson selling out to baseball he is a leader that people will follow and if the sport keeps growing he will be the face that kids for years will look upto i think this is a great thing for paintball

Almost! Quote:
NXL is a closed Division of the PSP - invites only! Dynasty has done both. Lang prefers the X-Ball format, maybe one of the reasons behind his move??? Of interest, Legacy beat the Ironmen in a open NXL practice in Calif. a week ago. | |||||

I think Oliver is a classy guy, and an amazing player. This is a good thing. Like he said, he needs to secure a position for himself for his and his family's future. It seems that his decision was definitaly the right one to make. His teammates should respect that. If I were one of them and one of his close friends I would be happy for him, and flattered that I had chance to play along with him, and share the opportunities that they all had together.

I dont think that Ollie made a bad move, getting paid (if not more than) 100K/year for paintball is probably the best job anyone could ever hope of earning, and I say the word 'earning' instead of 'getting' for a reason. A lot of people sent him flak about going for the deal, but if a deal like this paves the way for more deals of the same nature, then who knows, any of us could potentially be paid athletes in the future of the sport. Paintball is moving forward so fast, it is exciting to think about the possibility of one of our leagues (NPPL PSP etc,)one day becoming as recognized as the NBA or NFL.
A lot of Dynasty fans will probably look down on Lang for making the move, but I guess they need to see the big picture, and that in business this kind of thing happens all the time. I noticed that on the website a lot of people called him a sellout and some said they would stop supporting Dye if the deal went through. All I have to say to that is that a Dynasty fan that lost respect for Dye or Ollie is not a true Dynasty fan. __________________ Are you guys serious? Haha. He is smart. Anyone would take a chance like that and if you wouldnt you are a fucking dumb ass. In a way he is a sell out, but in a way he is taking another step for the sport. This is only the begnining. So all you dynasty fans that think this is the end of the world, suck it up dynasty is still going kick ass.

yeah they will still do good but not as good who knows they might slip it up and xsv could take em in future games im happy really if dynasty goes down hill not to bag on them or anything im just sick of seeing the same team win every year and majority of the tournys as well. it would be cool to finally see some mixing up of the wins. its as if whatching the superbowl and knowing who is going to win every year.. not as fun __________________
