Registration Open for 2nd Event In Addicts Winter Series

Registration is now open for the 2nd event in the First Annual Addicts Winter Series.

If you played the first event, and you will not be making changes to your roster, call me to reserve your spot (801-886-8899). You can pay by Credit Card over the phone if you like.

If you will be making roster changes, please call or pm me for a new registration form.

We look forward to another GREAT event.

The registration deadline for this 2nd event is next Tuesday, February 14th. I have heard from alot of the teams who played the last event, but I still need to hear from a few of you.

Remember, the series is still wide open and anyone can take the grand prize.

How are you figuring the series points? Can you post the current standings? thanks

Ya, will the season places be a sum of all the points earned in the individual tournaments, or will it be its own point scale.

I have the standings on my laptop at home, I'll post them when I get home tonight.

We will be scoring the same way the XPSL scores, on a 100 point curve. For example, there were 16 rookie teams, so divide 100 by 16, you get 6.25, round that to the nearest whole, (6). First place will receive 100 points, 2nd place will receive 94 points, 3rd place 88, etc.

The series winners will be determined by the total points accumulated at each event. So, a team could come in 4th all 4 tournaments, and still win the series, if they are more consistent than other teams.

Again, I'll post the standings when I get home. Young guns will be the same, but divided by 8 teams instead of 16.

Someone made a strange recomendation for me to give to you, and the more I think about it, hey it might be fun.
They suggested that at the end of the tourney, the 1st place rookie team play the 1st place Young Gunz team. There 3 or 4 best against the ygz 3 or 4 best for bragging rights only.
