Velocity Airball field closed for 2005 season!

This is just an announcement to let everyone know that the Velocity airball field is now closed for the season.

We are getting ready to treat the grass before winter, and right now the grass root system just isnt as strong because of the cooler weather. We will announce it on our web-site when we re-open the field next year (probably april).

This is going to be something that I have to get used to when I arrive in Utah next year. Down here in Texas we play outdoors year round. In the Winter it is just more comfortable as you don't burn up from the heat.

Glad to hear that you treat the grass and I look forward to checking out your place when I arrive in Utah next Summer.

Welcome Varal...
This is the first year for Velocity Paintball Varal. Here the winters can get miserable. Gives us a chance to take a break and prep for next year.

Congrats on your first year are in order then....

I didn't mean anything bad by you closing for the Winter. I have lived in places where it gets cold and understand. I just meant that down here in Texas the weather doesn't get bad enought NOT to play outdoors. Heck...I wore shorts outside yesterday.

Good luck on your second year as a field. I look forward to coming out and checking you out when I get there.

VK,

Ain't nothing like playin' all year long (miss TX)...but its all good here...PB A pretty good about changing up field during winter time...lots of private fields...just got to know...and of course...theres BG.

Base still working on a better field, current one is okay for newbs or if you wanna just to some target practice...mostly for woods guys.

Velocity is very close to base...that's the plus, good choice of fields for rec ball...they're still working their airball field. Should turn out pretty good...pending the way grass will grow.

Can't wait 'til you arrive!!! Later...brudha.

Good info LA, thanks. You STILL keep me up to date as to what's going on. 😛 Hopefully Velocity will continue to thrive and improve. You always need a plce to run drills and the closer the better (less gas mony expense).

Good luck Velocity...I'll see you next Summer.
