I just checked the new posts since yesterday and 14 out of 18 threads that had posts in them were in "For Sale/Wanted". Does anyone on here play paintball or do we just buy and sell the equipment?

I miss the summer already. Damn you offseason!!! Damn you to hell!!

Its a problem that has plagued other websites. There is a cadre of a few indivuals who hijack public webistes for thier own personal gain. Such as buying and selling as a business.

Other sites have had to adobpt accpetable use policys to address this issue. Call me if you want details. I have been approched by some other shop / field owners about how 801 is being used as a marketplace, instead of its original intent.

I think this time of year thats what a lot of people are doing.. .play time is going down, school time is going up. light is being lost=less play time.. people are getting rid of old gear, alot more now then during other months, and waiting for the new year to pick up more gear.

I suppose more talk will start if more fields post game days and conversations can be started in those areas, as well as having spring roll around in 4-5 months.

Regardless if there are 14/18 threads on Gear For Sale, that doesnt mean that poeple dont play. Does posting a thread in "General" mean that "you play paintball".

This dosent make sense to me? I have seen many plugs for multiple field events as well as gear and multiple items people are selling within these threads. Some of which have been put on here by shop and field owners, such as yourself. Now, this doesnt bother me in the least bit. This is a Utah paintball forum and I thought that was part of its purpose. So, my feelings are that just because some people are selling and buying more than usual right now doesnt mean there is anything wrong with it.

What is "unaccepable use"??? I guess that is what I am trying to understand??
