UXPL Thanks

Just wanted to say thanks to Allen and all the other people who were involved in the UXPL last weekend. I had a great time, and it seemed like everyone else did as well!
Thanks to the refs as well, as far as I was concerned you guys did a great job!
I hope that the Davis County Fairgrounds will allow more events there, it was a pretty good venue.
I look forward to the next one, thanks again!

Yea the reffing was mixed there were some dang good calls and some bad calls but at least they made calls at this one. I also didnt see a lot of cheating as compared to last time good job it was a lot better than the ones before and thanks to all the teams that played that was awsome.

My Thanks

Thanks to the teams for thier support of what we are trying to accomplish. For the most part the attitudes were great, lets keep it that way!

I need to thank my guys who helped me with setup Dan, Mason, & Brysen. It was way hot and they put in the 12-15 hour days for several days before the event to make the UXPL happen.

Thanks also to the teams who helped with Setup and Clean up for a few hours here and there. You guys were a great help.

JT Bruizers
Frantic
BG Army
Missing Link
Billy from Redz
Chris from Headshot
Brad from Dye Guys
Jake from Wraith

As always my thanks to Cory and the Ref staff, most of them did an outstanding job and they handaled over 200 games in just 8 hours in the heat!

It takes help and support from lots of people to pull off an event as big as the UXPL has become. As it continues to grow we will rely more on teams to help with events.

As always we will be evaluating and improving things if you have specific suggestions please let me know privately.

Thanks,

😁

The thing that bugs me about the UXPL is they won't let anyone under 18 ref the event. So they get like 8-10 people to ref the event which isn't enough. They need about double that. Me and my friend offered to ref but they said we were too young. This bugs me because I saw so many bad calls. There were some good ones but I saw more bad ones than good ones and this shouldn't be.

Allen~
Hats off, you ran another good, fun, event. Thanks a lot! We had a good time.

Refs~
You guys did a good job. I know it is super hard work. And I feel that my team lost an opportunity to go to the semi's because of a bad call...but...if nothing else, at least you had the guts to make calls. Thanks guys. Just a little advise...watch the clock, and watch the game til its all the way over 🙂

Last~
Thanks to all the teams out there. It seems like everyone gets better and better with each event. It makes it more competitive and fun. Thanks everyone. Its cool to get to see everyone at the events.

darkalliance, you bitch way to much. Allen, you did a great job this tourney, and it was extremely impressive the way you recovered after that bad weather messing up your netting. started and hour late, but games ended 5 minutes early for lunch, which was impressive. games rolled smoothly, and the chronostation system made things run pretty nicely also. props to a good tourney, keep em rollin.
