A-5 Flatline

Hundreds of people have posted their opinions on the Flatline in hundreds of places. I'll keep it short.

Installation takes about 30 seconds on the A-5, just remove 3 screws, twist out the old, twist in the new.

Big, soft, irregular, and otherwise improper paints WILL break in this barrel, quite regularly, and won't shoot worth a damn.

You cannot shoot through a break with this barrel.

The accuracy is good, if you have a good, small-bore paint, but you do get some variation at the longer ranges (But you wouldn't even be able to shoot at those ranges without the flatline, so take that as you will.) Wind does not seem to affect shots THAT much more than a normal barrel, but you may be shooting at longer ranges, which will be affect more.

A consistent air supply and small bore paint is the best thing for consistent, accurate shots with this barrel. Do not turn your velocity up too high, somewhere between 260 and 280 works best for most people.

Otherwise, it's a great barrel, and if you keep it clean, you can have a lot of fun longballing people.
