Tourney down south

I think you'd be suprised that a lot of teams up north wouldn't complain if there was a tourney down south. We kind of expect it. I've never heard any of the idaho teams complain about driving or JT's Brusier's either. We kind of expect it since there is a bigger population base in the SLC. We're definetly not going to complain though if it's closer and the grass is probably better.

Best Idea

Quote:
Maybe there will be the Brigham city open, and the Salt lake city open, and a Provo open.

Thats the best idea yet. Would be kinda neat a statewide series.

I'm going to throw in a vote for that too. It would be cool to see UXPL make 4-5 different locations for the season next year, and have them work their way down south. Plus it gives each group kind of a home field kind of feeling.

Sounds good to me.

I second that motion...

That has always been my plan to have a rotating series.
I need your help to secure locations.

Yes it takes a year in advance to schedule most places.

If you have legit suggestions please contact me and lets discuss.

When can we order paint for this coming event? And do we still get the 10 case deal?

Allen, What about the college's?

They always seem to have large open fields. Maybe we could use the help of some students. I know USU team would offer insight. But a statewide series would be fun. BUT!!!!!! It is alot of work. SO we paintballers would have an obligation to assist and act accordingly. One bad apple could ruin any chance of a repeat.

Lol, i love that redneck quote. As far as distance is involved, i don't care how far i have to drive, i just want to have a really fun time win or lose, and if nice grass makes the difference, then i'm good with that....

I'd Love a to have a tourney at USU

We have been trying to make a tourney happen at USU for sometime now. There would be some really good venues @ USU, but as of yet they have not responded to our inquiries this year. Last year we were approved, but for logistically reasons the promoter (Not Allen) backed out. It would be awesome to do USU, WSU, U of U, and then BYU. That would pretty much cover all of Utah except the deep south which would have the Utah summer games anyways. I would still like to see a tourney up in Logan preferably at USU. Are there any local tourneys going on the 5th of setember?????
