Presidents speech...

Just read it... go here to read it.....

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8394127/

I thought it was great that he continues to stand for what he said. It will be nice to see that part of the world be a better place.. There are many other areas of the world that require help and I hope that we can help those places as well.

I think we should stay till the job is done, why do a jacked up job and leave early. That would be compared to any local paintball team going to a tourney and leavin at lunch time.....

Thoughts?

I thought it was the same speech he gave a year ago. I only caught some of it on tv though. I am supportive of the cause, just tired of hearing the same ol' speech.

that last part was a little incohirent, but the drug and crime problem has plagued society since the begining; it's human nature. the thing they are trying to stop is the Jihadists flying PLANES INTO OUR BUILDINGS AND KILLING THOUSENDS OF INNOCENTS. pardon the outburst, but I feel strongly about it. People will say, but Saddam had nuttin' to do with 9/11, I would say that the saying "to kill a snake cut it's head off" does not apply, if that were the case, we would go right to the Saudies. I think more along the lines of "to kill the snake start at the tail and work your way up." this illustrates the problem with the whole area, the more countries over there we stabalize the less likely we will be attacked(IMOP)

a quote from an solder over in Iraq: "I'd rather fight them over here, where we all have guns, than at home."

I agree, but I think the reason the speach sounds the same is, the goals are the same. I think it is a good thing that he is not waivering on what he is going to do.

I'm glad Bush stayed in, this country would be jacked with the likings of Kerry. We need someone that stands for freedom and not scared to stand up for it and righteous decisions.

After all we know how this country was founded, a bunch of religious people that wanted freedoms and found this place. Yet after only what a couple hundred years is already faltering and letting evil things become common grounds. ie:Abortion, gay marriage, the lack of daily saying of the Pledge of Alligence due to athiest type people being treated unfairly, The ten commandments not being able to be displayed in public places under circumstances......

Anywho I would just like to find out the thoughts of the local paintball community on the speech and above mentioned thoughts of mine.

First, I agree. I am glad he hasn't waivered on what he believes, finally a pres with a little nut.

Second, I wish that people, myself included, would petition or protest to keep the Pledge of Alligence in, and keep the ten commandments in public places. I am tired of the voice of the few taking over. God bless this country in which the few can be heard, but we need these things. These things are what this country was founded on.

I seen something ironic on the news the other day. A guy thats taking the time to make a sign and honor those that have died in the war, is on the grounds of getting fined and or prison time. Yet the murders , rapists, etc run free...
