Thats exactly how they are, but not only is it a cheese grader, they sprinkle kayane pepper in it, so it burns too.

Ya see what we have to deal with! Wow! Its for the love of the game though.

No one answered the question about the affiliates? When, where?

Quite honestly, even though I am not seriously moved by the temporary field for velocity's airball, it is better than a great most fields that I have seen. Atleast you are not playing on dirt, and its somewhat soft. And whats even better, is that it can take the abuse put on it from paintballs, sliding, etc.

Hopefully wherever allen decides to hold it, everyone will realize that this is a tournament that people should expect to have to drive to. Anywhere along the wasatch front is not far for people to have to drive. Bottom line is that you have to play where you can get. Its not easy finding places to play, so hand it to allen for doing his best to get places to hold the event.

We should all feel fortunate that there is such a great tournament venue that most of us dont have to drive 3-5 hours to get to.

just my 2 cents.

Tournaments everywhere

It's to bad that we can't have some type of field rotation some in the south some up north. I think a tourney in the Logan area would be sweet.

hey i'm a field ref up at velocity, and i guess i should report, the temp field is nothing... nothing compared to the beautiful green grass growing down on our regular airball fields. The nets will be up soon, and when they are, I think that velocity will definately be the best venue for a series like the UXPL. Listen guys, location is not nearly as important as quality.

my reasoning is that its somewhat of a drive for every team, but driving there is not what matters, playing there is what matters.

Grass is wonderful.

I really don't care where games are you should expect to travel. I just wish there were a few different places north and south that had nice grass so all teams could have their hometown peeps cheering for them. That being said I was wondering if we could secure a grassy field way up here in Logan Utah, how many teams would be interested in coming up and playing?
