*Captains meeting will be at 8:30am. Games start at 9:00am.

*This will be a Rookie Class only tournament:

Rookie Class: A Rookie Class roster may have no more than ONE player who has played an ANY 5-man or more (does not include scrambles or leagues) tournament prior to January 1st, 2004.

The game format will be 4-man center flag. The points will be as follows:
*Elimination: 6 points (4) = 24
*Live Players: 4 points (4) = 16
*Flag Pull: 10 points = 10
*Flag Hang: 50 points = 50
*Total = 100 points

So far I know of about 8 to 10 teams that plan to attend. We had 12 rookie team at the last event so I would imagine we will have somewhere around that many.

As far as prizes go, this is directly related to how many teams sign up, since we are paying for them and the registration money goes straight to prizes.

If 15 or so teams sign up prizes will be something like 68, 4500 tanks (pure energy) for first and other cool stuff for second and third. Like I said, it depends on how many teams register. I will be making the prize package order on the 26th, so the more teams that register by Monday, the better the prizes will be 🙂

Any suggestions on what prizes you guys would like to see? (Keep it realistic please, I can't afford 4 BMWs)

so what exactly is a rookie for tournement playing, i've been wanting to play in some tourneys. i've played against some tournement players before and i can hold my own.. sometimes. i play rec ball and speed ball alot so thats nothing new. but i've only been playing for a couple of months now. what i'm asking is what kind of experiance would i need to play in an event like this.

yah, like 1st place should get a 4 year passes and like 4 cases of paint(1 for each)
2nd should get a pod pack or something

I've just started to play in tournaments. I have been playing for 6 years now. Let me tell you, its the most fun I have ever had. I suggest you get a team together and play in uxpl first, then go to mwxpl. Team Occult will scrimmage you guys when ever you can play!

Prizes for the tournament could be field paint and passes. I'm always in need for paint....and a working gun!

We will definatly be giving out memberships for prizes as well as many other great things.

If we have 15+ teams prizes would look something like this:

1st:
4 68ci 4500 tanks
4 6 month memberships
and other small items (magazines, fuzzy sticks, whatever)

2nd:
4 Extreme Rage Packs
4 3 Month memberships
and other small items (magazines, fuzzy sticks, whatever)

3rd:
4 Cases of Field Paint
4 1 Month memberships
and other small items (magazines, fuzzy sticks, whatever)

Prizes may change of course, but you get the idea.
