Remaining Uxpl Tourneys.....Davis Fairgrounds or Velocity

I am happy to play at either location that they choose to hold these events at.

Although I think for the good and publicity of the sport it would be chill to keep them at the Davis Fair Grounds and then whomever is there and what ever other activities are goinon that day at the Fairgrounds, more people will be able to view the sport and see what its about.

Thats my .02

Whats everyone else think?

The Davis County fairgrounds are nice yes, but once the Velocity Field is open, I honestly can't see hosting them any where else. I was there helping them put up the fields netting etc the day before the event, there is a lot of work involved in setting those fields up.
If you wanted to make it more public for the masses, I would suggest that they do a little more marketing of the event then hold it at Velocity.
However I did like the grass at the Fairgrounds, but even though the grass will be just as nice or better at Velocity when the fields are done.

The 420 paint killed some of the beatiful Grass at the Fairgrounds. They are not happy, just too much paint on that Grass.

I have offered to replace the dead grass with Sod but things dont look good at the Fairgrounds...

If the Grass at Velocity grows by June it should be a great field with better and safer netting. The Velocity fields were designed with seperate entrances/Exits so that we can run efficent tournaments there. Logistically things will run smoother and easier at Velocity.
Heck I might even build a podium 😉

But that all depends on the weather and Grass growing...

The Temp fields at Velocity would work the Grass is just not as nice.

I would rather it be at velocity, because it is bigger and they have a facility already set up, but either one is good.

plain city is fairly close to velocity. by smith and edwards.
