I figured since there is little in this section I would add my two cents. I have a project I have been working on for about a month, I call it Bullpup Maverick. Some of you know what a bullpup is and some of you might not, its o.k. I will explain: Bullpup is a firearm design that incorporates the magazine into the stock, behind the trigger frame. This design feature shortens the overall length of the firearm while maintaining a full length barrel; in my case 12" Stock barrel at the moment. I have an old Crossman air rifle stock (Old school paintballers know what this is) rigged up with a used pistol grip frame. The maverick is striped of its M16 grip block, and strapped to this rig. My biggest problem was finding a trigger rod, which is attached by high tech means (duct tape) to the forward trigger and goes all the way back to the maverick trigger. I ended up rigging a heavy duty carry handle from a Kitty liter bucked and it works purrfectly 😁 . I then focused on pumping the marker, as it is not semi, by hacking up the original pump to half its size, using that high tech adhesive again and a quick tie attached the Mavericks M16 grip block to the shortened pump. To extend the pump I fashioned two arms that extend all the way to the bolt. All I need now is a remote, and it will be ready to go. It aint pretty, and looks kinda stupid, but if what they say is true, if it's stupid but it works, it aint stupid than that's all right by me. If you want to see this ugly piece in action, I will be testing when Velocity opens next week 😉 Next mod, Auto-cocking!
